Epic Cols is a passion project for rider and photographer Daniel Hughes. Hughes is a Sony Photographic ambassador who works with some of the largest and most renowned outdoor brands in the world. His work can be seen in galleries, magazines, online publications and on his clients' channels.
He says, " Epic Cols is not just about cycling, but about sharing incredible places just to be. It excites me to be able to share them. "

Col du Madeleine - Ventoux's shadow

Col du Madeleine, a regular Tour de France feature but never a stage finish is a Col connecting the north to the south. This photograph is of the final switchback as you climb from the north with the imposing Mt Blanc in the background.
