The Divers Sixty-Five from independent Swiss brand Oris has always been a hit amongst watch collectors. The many variations of the watch make it an inclusive collection. From the early 40mm versions to the bronze iterations, Oris truly succeeded in creating something for everyone. And after the huge popularity of the bronze “Cotton Candy”, Oris continues its inclusive and colorful ways with the new "Cotton Candy" Steels.
Coming in three colorways, the Divers Sixty-Five Cotton Candy Steel collection maintains the 38mm case. However, gone is the bronze, replaced with a stainless steel case that is mostly brushed with polished sides. The divers bezel is still done in a relief fashion while the bracelet is completely brushed. You'll also find multiple changes with the dial. The colors here are more saturated while the lume shade is now a stark white vs the aged lume used on the bronze version. All this leads to a watch that is somehow both understated and conspicuous.
Beyond those differences, the watches still have a 48mm lug-to-lug and a 12.8mm thickness, allowing them to be unobtrusive and comfortable on the wrist. They pack the same Oris caliber 733 / Sellita SW200 as the rest of the Divers Sixty-Five 3 hand models and maintains a 38-hour power reserve.
When you take the classic styling of the Divers Sixty-Five combined with the more vibrant colorways offered on the Cotton Candy Steel models, they are sure to become a standout in your collection and on your wrist.
